About Us

Last updated:

Bound By Insanity is an independent fan website for adults who want to play and understand the dark visual novel demo. We take time with the dialogue, compare the central characters and keep current playable choices separate from plans for the full game.

An independent fan perspective

This website is not the original Bound By Insanity website, its developer or publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the original game website or its creator. Game artwork, characters and story remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Our purpose is to make the reading experience easier to approach. We explain what a control does, what a reply changes in the demonstrated demo and when a dramatic scene should not be mistaken for a completed route. We do not promise access to unreleased endings.

Play and read at your own pace

Home places the embedded demo beside practical reading guidance. We can learn when to advance a passage, how History differs from rollback and why a save deserves attention before we leave the browser. The game opens after Play Now; the written guidance remains available when that separate player cannot load.

The game’s dark tone is part of its story, not a reason to rush. We can pause, reread an exchange or stop when a scene feels uncomfortable. The game and this website are intended for adults, and the opening warning should be read before entering the story.

Read the characters beyond a portrait

Characters introduces the defined protagonist, Miles Falken and Adrien Lockhart. We look at words, gestures, context and personal boundaries rather than treating an illustration as proof of an entire relationship. Early impressions stay separate from hidden histories and late revelations.

The page uses character art and illustrated encounters to make those distinctions concrete. Its task is to help us read the cast; detailed replay choices belong on Endings, while the basic controls remain on Home.

Understand the demo’s story boundary

Endings explains the shared Act 1 demo, a visible reply example and the difference between a changed exchange and a finished character route. We keep the four planned future routes clearly identified as plans, rather than presenting them as currently unlockable endings.

When we replay, we can make a save, inspect a different reply and compare what actually changes. A late-demo example carries the page’s spoiler notice. The page is useful even when we prefer to stop before that example and return after playing.

Corrections and practical limits

We aim for clear, specific descriptions that match the version being discussed. A demo can change, and a browser player or older save can behave differently. Please report a precise passage, image or control that needs attention instead of assuming every version is identical.

The site provides no accounts, comments, advertising, analytics, payments or subscriptions. We do not invent an author biography, company history or official affiliation. Contact Us explains how to send a correction, accessibility report or rights concern, and the Legal pages describe the site’s actual features.
